Analysis Based on 3D Scan Data - Pool Example

This section demonstrates the possibilities for analyzing the geometry and all captured properties of scanned objects and solids, using a swimming pool as an example.

To analyze deviations between the scanned pool section and the actual pool construction, the construction is inserted into the 3D CAD model of the scanned pool section within the CAD program.

For example, a heatmap makes the deviations visible and highlights them accordingly.

This results in a precise comparison of the target geometry of the CAD design with the actual dimensions of the scanned section, enabling optimal adjustments.

Subsequently, visualizations can be created, for example, with original surfaces and in a selectable or custom 3D environment, as well as cutting dimensions and contours, for example, for CNC manufacturing.
